Default Well I got a new transmission... now what do i do?

Friend just gave me a t3650 with 15k miles on it. My t45 has 80k on it. I'm starting to hear clanking when i start out in first gear... i dont know if its clutch chatter or what?

Problem... I have long tubes, yes I installed them myself and I know how i have to take them off. However, i dropped the kmember and supported the engine with the tranny on with a jack under the oil pan. If i'm changing the tranny it no longer has that support. Unless i take the Lt's off and put the kembmer back in , which would be beyond tedious. Any other suggestions.

Also clutch recommendations... don't say spec I will never own a spec after seeing a couple of those after some driving. I wish I could get another king cobra but they dont make them for the 3650. I think i need to the tranny out instead of just selling it though especially with the supercharger going on soon.
