my vote would definitely be with longtubes...your situation kinda sucks. on the bright side...you car looks absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!
ya i hate my school so much there is no reason that no matter which way you go you cant get to a single student parking space without going over a speedbump...its rediculus

my friend had a low 89 trans am that scraped on the speed bumps after he installed a t56 tranny in it...so he went to administration and talked to them about it. they ended up giving him a space in the teacher lot. and the teacher lot was paved while the student lot was dirt, he made out awesome lol. but if you get the headers...go and talk to the administration in your school. if you have it on your car, and they still make you park there...go ahead and sue them for the damage to your car unless the administration is comprised of COMPLETE jerks...they should be pretty understanding.

Good info guys.... One thing that I've read is that longtubes don't really produce much hp unless your supercharged. They in some configs can actually make you loose power. I'll have to dig out my 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords mags and find that tech article.......

if you've already got the x pipe, get the bassani headers. they are midlengths and make more power than shorties. plus you can only use them with the bassani x.

btw i have both also

wow i didnt even think of doing that...thanks a lot ill check into that when the school year starts.

uum i went with the bbk x pipe with high flo cats, flowmasters...and bbk shorty ceramic coated headers. i saw nice increase on the x pipe..not much on the headers other than sound. i would definitely go with bbk though

that may be true for PEAK hp, but over the curve the LTs should be ALOT better. And peak hp isn't what makes you fast
