Default 03 GT Headers

I am looking into getting some shorty headers for my 03 GT...I would go with long tubes but I have clearance problems as it is. I am planning on running a Bassani X Pipe w/ Hi Flow cats and flowmasters. What brand do you guys reccomend and how hard is it to install them (i hear you have to damn near pull the motor).
Thanks,
Garrett

I just ordered JBA Shorty's for my 00GT. I heard they are right under Kook's which is more expensive. I paid $663.00 for them which is kinda up there but I heard they were almost the best I could get being that I have an x-pipe and automatic. I'll let you know how they turn out.

What kind of clearance problems do you have? Are you lowered? Body kit?

I have a body kit, 2' lowered, and LT's... I have ZERO clearance issues. The ONLY thing I can't do is go over speed bumps, and to be honest I hit it twice and never did it again, but I bet if I got it down at the right angle, I could clear those too, I just didn't bother.

You should be able to easily fit LT's... Shorties are really pointless

EDIT: Yea I just read your sig. Saleen body + lowered, but still like I said above, I have the same thing + LTs and I don't have any issues. I would rethink it first, because shorties do nothing for our cars. You will be paying money for sound.

thanks for the feedback guys it really helps and meebix i realise that there is hardly any gain from shorties but i wanted headers and i didnt think LT would go over well at all because I HAVE to go over speedbumps at my school...its soooo gay cuz there a bitch...i have to zigzag the parking lot to go over the small ones[:@]
