Default car is always hot!

i know that since i've got a black interior, it's gonna be warmer than not but even when its overcast and or cloudy with no sun the damn car is still hot. i can feel the heat coming from under the steering column, not a stream of it but just warmth. the dial is set to max cool of course and i've tried running max a/c for a few minutes to cool things down a bit. then everything heats back up again. and yes, when running a/c it stays cool like its supposed to.

any ideas what's wrong?
thanks

no no. what i'm saying is that even on days when there is no sun the car is still pumping out heat when driving! it shouldn't be 70 outside and 90 inside!

doesnt happen to me even with my lt headers that arent ceramic coated. but i sure can see the heat coming off the hood when im sitting in traffic or somthing[:@] try keeping the ac on the floor rather then on the vents.

Maybe you're missing some kind of firewall/cowl gasket, insulation, or something, as that engine compartment gets very hot and it's finding its way to you...
