Thats the way I feel, I'm at school from August-May so I only go through a tank about every week and a half. If I had a long commute every day I wouldn't have bought a v8 mustang, I would have got another civic. I could drive the crap out of that thing and still get 30 mpg minimum, and if I did a lot of highway driving it would jump to mid 30's.

Am I the only one who could care less about the gas mileage in my mustang? Were any of you honestly thinking of gas mileage when you bought a mustang? To czwalga00gt, if you care so much about gas mileage you might want to hold off on that supercharger, unless you just plan on letting it sit on top of your engine and look pretty.

Doesnt really bother me.... however its an added bonus to not adding something to my car that would **** me off. Atleast the supercharger will knock off about 1.5 seconds as opposed to the .2 (with drag radials) probably a wash without dr's that the gears will do.

Also, centrifugal blowers don't sit on top of the engine.

On top of the engine, in front of the engine, to the side of the engine, under the engine, in the trunk..either way you got my point.

depends on what ur objectives are. If some where down the road u plan on supercharging it then go with 3.73s. But if you are doing just some boltons definitely get 4.10's

I like my 3.73's.....i'm an auto though, not sure what your car is....mine is my DD. I never go to the track, i just wanted a little extra "get up and go" for the car...nothing drastic... and i have a few hour commute back home when i go visit from college.....gas mileage wasn't the reason for my choice at all, but i'm glad i didn't get 4.10's. I'm at about 3,000rpm at 80mph, which is high enough for me, and here 80mph is slow on the interstate. I don't like keeping my car that high in the rpms for hundreds of miles on a long *** trip, especially w/ a higher mileage engine like mine.....to shorten my answer.......i would've kicked myself in the *** if i would've gotten 4.10's....i'm very happy w/ 3.73's.
