Cannot wait to get 3.73's to go with the auto and s/c. But right now that would void the Roush warranty.

I'm at about 3,000rpm at 80mph, which is high enough for me, and here 80mph is slow on the interstate.
Yeesh. That doesn't sound very appealing at all. A better ratio is always welcome from stock but I couldn't handle 3K at freeway speeds...

i also forgot to mention i do about an 8 hour drive home from school every other month
Just dont drive too fast on the highway.
When i`m on the highway, I keep it between 65 and 70 and I still average 20 mpg.

That's what I get city. Highway, I'm 28+.

If you want to see what your RPM's are gonna be with either the 3.73's or 4.10's... theres a really good calculator for that posted in the stickies. I would check that out if you know the tire size dimensions that you're running. This will give you a better idea at what you would be running at a certain speed. Like some have said on here... 4.10's are good if your interested in pulling off from a line and doing a lil racing on the low end, but your gonna suffer at the top end some. With 3.73's, you won't pull as hard off the line... but your gonna get a lil more top speed out of it. But honestly, not many people drive over 110 anyways so my choice would be 4.10's unless you plan on getting a supercharger. If you had 4.10's and a S/C, you will have a hard time putting all that power to ground without spinning like crazy. Hope this helps.

Why not?? RIGHT in the power band... If you take care of your car and engine, 3k RPM's isn't bad at all... It's crusing at 5200 RPM's, w/ flaky injectors and fuel pump, while your shocks and springs are shot out..

If you're only making a few hundred mile trip once every couple of months, 4.10's will be fine... Just save your pennies...

i would love to hear your explanation of how the top end would suffer with 4.10's, i'm sick and tired of hearing this crap! [:@]

+1 With 4.10's and everything else pretty much stock, you will actually be able to achieve a higher top speed because stock the Mustang cannot max itself out. With 4.10's your car still has the potential to do 150+MPH so i really wouldn't be worried about your top speed unless you plan on going faster than that!

i want to take my 410s out for 373s, i want the extra highway speed in 4th, plus traction in 1 & 2 with the vortech is tough to find when pushing it. For n/a, i would still do 410s, unless you like to race on the highway, then i would do 373s.
