Default 96-98 weak heads

Do the 96-98s have weak heads...I remember hearing that from somewhere but Im not sure.

96-98 = Non PI (Power Improved i think) intake manifold and heads.

99-04 = PI heads and intake.

im pretty sure that's right.

To say the non-pi heads are weak is a little harsh. Yes the pi heads flow better and produce about 18% more hp, but there is nothing inherently wrong with the non-pi heads.

no, it's from my g/f homecoming. But we've been to almost every school dance together



ummm benefits to a PI swap... more horsepower, more torque... that's about what you do it for. Most cases you get an increase in compression ratio so you have to run premium
