Mustang GT vs Integra turbo

RE: Mustang GT vs Integra turbo
It will be a question of who can hook. FWD sucks without slicks on the 1/4. From a roll, you can probably win; from a dig, he better suck as a driver or you will lose money.

sorry man, but my buddy has a ls integra turbocharged and he runs 13.6 in the ¼, thats at 6 psi. sorry to say but if you want any race, race from 0-30. you will get him for the first 10 feet but after that your in trouble. i know frm first hand experience

RWD>FWD in drag racing. From a stop the teg should be smoking the tires pretty badly.
If you can make 230~ WHP to his maybe 270 (in a lighter car) and he cannot launch you should win. But he will really have to screw up the launch.

RE: Mustang GT vs Integra turbo
I have owned a turbocharged civic with 244fwhp and I now own a 2000 mustang. The civic was WAY FASTER. My mustang has no aftermarket parts but it does have drag radials and would would probably beat the civic in the 1/8 but the civic would take the 1/4. If you are just learning how to lauch a high horsepower fwd then I would suggest you race him from a roll like 30+ mph. When I was learning to lauch my civic, I would either bog or spin so bad that i couldnt recover...You just have to find that right rpm to launch at. The civic is lighter than an integra but the power the to weight ratio should still go to the teg if it does put down the power you think that you will. I raced many slightly modded lt1's and some stock ls1 camaros and firebirds and never lost against them....of course they were all from a roll usually at 50mph.

From a stop and 1/8 mile races are going to the mustang, no brainer. The integra has a chance in the quarter, but seeing as how he just got the turbo, his launching will be off. If I owned the integra, I would try and go to the track before racing him, and work on launching. With a good launching technique, it would be a good race.
