Is nitrous worth getting or is it going to be bad on a 4.6 sohc with minor mods...... pullies.. intake.. exhaust...maybe a 75 or 100 shot? wet or dry? I want to see your feedback...........

anything above a 100 shot it is recomended that you get a tune...theres my feedback

EDIT: dollar for dollar you really cannot beat it...u get 80 rwhp for like 600 bucks...or like 110 rwhp for several thousand dollars with an S/C

then again id take a S/C over NOS anyday of the week

Definately worth it!! I saw 80 hp to the rear tires with a 100 wet shot and it is very cheap and easy to install compared to all other methods. My torque numbers also went through the roof!!

Thats what i figured....... thanks....... i know my times coming im not sure what to do.... car is paid for so i can invest some money into a motor? rebuild 4.6 or go bigger?/??????

I was also looking into nitrous. I'm thinking a 75 wet shot for now. How much will this damage my engine over time (i have 40k miles right now)? I won't be spraying that much... maybe a couple times a month. Down the road I would eventually upgrade internals, so they will be refreshed eventually.

Get a DOHC 5.4L.

defnitely if you got the money. theres an adapter somewhere where you can use your stock 4.6 intake manifold on it so it will fit under the hood. i guy on here actually put a 5.4 in his npi gt and worked fine.
