Exhaust Question...

Exhaust Question...
I have a 2001 GT.
I have a question about an exhaust swap.
If I was to:
1. Get a set of 1-5/8" Shorty Headers
2. Bassani Off-Road X-Pipe
3. Bassani Exhaust
There wouldnt be any place to hook up the O2 sensor, so the Check Engine light would turn on. I would have to get a tune for the car to turn off the light, so an SCT2 would work fine right?
