xcal2 holding more than one tune?

xcal2 holding more than one tune?
ok in august im gonna get a wet kit. after install, i need to get a dyno tune. what do people usually do for the tune when you arnt using the nitrous and are using the nitrous? i know there are flip chips but i just got my xcal from MPH and it says it can hold more than 1 tune. so do i just flash it before i use the nitrous with a nitrous tune that a shop will program for me? will that hurt the computer if i flash more than once? also do you need a tuner if you purchase a flip chip or will the dyno place burn the chip? hopefully i didnt just get this tuner for nothing

the xcal2 holds 4 tunes... your stock one and 3 custom ones... for instance, mine has 87 octane tune, the other one is 93 Octane with 3.90's and the last one was 93 octane tune with regular gearing... so you could have your 93 octane tune regular driving, and then the other 2 can be for 2 differant shots of nitrous like one is 75 shot and the other is 125 shot, or your regular 93, then your nitrous and then one for cheap gas.. etc.

I plan on gettin a SCT sometime soon too, anyone who has one or knows about it, how easy and what do you have to do to switch from one tune to the other, like do u have to turn the car off? Cuzz like say you were driving on ur basic tune then u wanted to spray some Giggly gas, is it easy to switch?

Thats why you will most likely run on the nitrous tune most of the time. Or if you have a tuner, just get colder plugs and retard the timing by four, you'll be safe all day long if its below a 100 shot.
