i am surprised that we havent heard from guys with "friends" who kill bikes all the time. I know its possible, but find me a streetable,dd car that can whip a bike from a dig or a roll, and you the man. I am sure they are out there, but few and far between. Not sure why car guys sometimes have a sore spot when it comes to bikes, it is usually just about power to weight, simple physics yo.

ORIGINAL: Butters

What about a little 250? How much hp do you think it'll take to beat one of those? Im racing one on the 25th so I'll let you know how a stock mustang holds up =P
Years ago a buddy had a 1974 Trans Am with a 455 bigblock which had nice work done to it. 10:1 compresion, edelbrock intake & holley 780 doublepumper, headers, stall converter & shift kit for the turbo 400 tranny. I raced him on my old 250cc dirt bike & could beat him to about the 1/8th mile mark where he finally caught up & blew past me lol

That was a pretty powerful car, & mine was a pretty old dirt bike. Moral of the story: Don't fug with motorcycles if your in a car

You will never beat a bike, its that simple. A 300 pound to 200 hp weight to hp ratio is ridiculous.... Its just not going to happen, you will never beat one in a mustang.

The only car I have ever seen beat a bike (Yamaha R1 at that) was a 06 Z06 pushing 15 psi blown. From a dig, the bike put about 8 bus lengths on the Vette until he hit about 4th gear and then he made the bike look like he was standing still. Other than that, Ive never seen it before though.

I say just switch lanes real fast, put them in the ditch and floor it. You win.
