I might be limited to 255/35s and 275/35s.........what would be the difference in the look of the tire?

Does the rim size effect hook up? Would 17's allow for greater traction or is that all determined by suspension and tire pressure? Not really hijacking, just informing...

You can safely go wider. I've got 18x9 up front, 265/35-18... 18x10 in the back, 295/35-18. Speedometer is something minor like 3% too slow (so at 100, it'll read 97). That difference can be attributed to the new deep tread .

They don't look like they're too big for the wheel, actually, it looks PERFECT, and they're so wide.

On the second picture, that was the only thing I could find that would give a good demonstration of how wide these tires are
