CHANGING MANUAL TRANSMISSION FLUID....COUPLE QUESTIONS
So I finally decided to head up to Summit yesterday and buy some Royal Purple Synchromax. I am going to change the fluid, but I got a couple questions. First of all, How hard is it to fill the transmission back up? Is the fill plug hard to get to? And second of all, I have the classic 3650 1-2 grind, and I cant remember the fluid amount the Tremec said to refill it to for the recall (3.1 0r 3.2 quarts) Can anyone gimmie some help with this? Thanks...

RE: CHANGING MANUAL TRANSMISSION FLUID....COUPLE QUESTIONS
I fill mine through the shifter rather than the fill plug, its less messy that way. And I dont see how a .10 of a quart is going to make any difference what so ever.

RE: CHANGING MANUAL TRANSMISSION FLUID....COUPLE QUESTIONS
I may try it through the shifter. And the factory rating is 3.8 quarts, but I wasnt sure if Tremec said to fill it to 3.1 0r 3.2 quarts to help with the problem...thanks for the help tho...

RE: CHANGING MANUAL TRANSMISSION FLUID....COUPLE QUESTIONS
The plug wasnt hard to get to on mine.. I just ran a tube down beside the shifter and into the fill plug then took a funel and filled it up until it started coming out of the tranny like it said.. working wonders
