Lowering springs?

RE: Lowering springs?
i heard stock shocks and struts should be replaced if you are lowering a car with more than 15k miles on it... im throwing a pro-kit on mine a a few weeks and i ordered new shocks/struts and cc plates to go along with them.

Eibach Sportlines and Maximum Motorsports 4 bolt C/C plates. It is all you need. That is what I have and have 18x10 rims in the back with 295/35R18 and they don't rub at all, even in Houston, where I live. I have had them for awhile and my shocks and struts haven't blown out yet. The handling was greatly improved. The ride was a little bumpier, but that is to be expected (not near as bad as linear rate springs, though). Finally, it looks awesome. You will be more than satisfied, especially when you find out there is only a little bit of a noticable difference from stock to 1.5 inches lower.

Like what was said above, I'd wait to get the springs and new shocks/struts and do all the work at the same time. It will make for a safer, more comfortable ride, and will save you time and effort also.
