OK does anybody know where to get a replacement gasket that is found between the stock H-pipe flange and the header on the passenger side of the car? I know this applies to '96-'98 GT's, and I'm guessing '99+ as well. I've checked around online and haven't had any luck. Also I'm not to sure what it's called. If it was long-tube headers, it would be the collector gasket, but I'm not sure what it would be called for stock shorties. Does anybody have an idea?

Yep, go to your local Ford dealership and tell them you need one. I believe they are the only ones who can get you one.

You are correct, the dealer is the only ones who have them.

I was afraid of that. Knowing my luck, they'll probably charge me like $50 for a damn gasket. [:@]

i thought it was wierd but didnt think much of it when i took off my stock h pipe and there wasnt any gasket there(pass side). Since there was only 13,000 miles on it and i bought it from an older woman, i dont think anyone previously messed with it. hmmm, thinking i might add one, but i really dont hear any leaks.....
