i have a 04 gt automatic and this is my frist auto car. i had a f 150 that was manual but i dont know how to race a auto. i know lots of you are gunna say why get an auto to race? but i am going to be driving in traffic 5 days out of 7 twice a day and a stick is not fun. i was just wondering if some one could give me a few tips.

i drive in town with a stick 7 days of the week and i think it's fun rolling down town, throw it in first or second, hit it and roll off the tires. man, you should have gotten a stick but first. maybe get a chip so that way the shifting isn't messed up with the auto

i know i should of gotten a stick but i think that i will value my decision later. but thanks for the advice does anyone else have any????????

get gears. No less than 4.10's.

oh yeah, and dont forget about the exhaust. You need to make the mustang sound like a MUSTANG.

other than gears, you wanna spruce up that slow-a-matic with a shift kit and/or chip as well (for cheap) or a higher stall convertor (little more bank) Then we can't call it a slow-a-matic anymore - see how good that works out?
