A/C kicking on and off???
Alright it just started the other day.... the A/C is kicking on and off like every second hence it doesnt work. At idle you can see the rpms keep jumping when it turns on then off.... You can also watch the clutch on the pulley keep clicking on and off.
Is there a bad switch or something that is causing this?

RE: A/C kicking on and off???
so you're getting no cold air then?
There is a switch that kicks the A/C on/off but I can't think of the name at the moment. You may need to clean/replace it. It could also be that your A/C system is low on refrigerant. If it just started you may have a leak somewhere.

If i'm not mistaken...if the a/c is cycling on and off, that means it's extremely low if not out of freon. Also, when the a/c is on, mine will idle at lower rpm's. But I'm fairly new so if I'm way off...oops, sorry. [:-]
