Depends on what you wanna spend really. If you wanna put just a couple thousand in it then put a good exhaust on it, some underdrive pullies, cld air intake, you have the rear end and thats about it. If you're looking to throw some real cash into it then grab a S/C or even a turbo or two for it. If you do that you are looking at a minimum of 4500 easy. Just depends on what you wanna do really.

Im not going overboard. I dont want to race prof. I just want to be able to take the majority of cars at a stop light. Im shooting for 350-400hp without a s/c or turbo.

well exhaust is always a good thing to do. Porting the heads and getting bigger valves along with a good set of cams. Underdriver, cold air intake, something like a 85MM MAM, 75mm throttle body, bigger plenum, and a good rearend... maybe a set of 4.10's and your looking at close to 150Hp gain if im not mistaken. Thats a little bit of money though.

The porting and bigger valves will run you $2000-$2400, the cams without installation will run about $500, cold air kit and the bigger MAM will be about $350 to $400, the Throttle body will run 189.00 to 250.00 depending on size and brand name and the plenum will run you about the same. A rear end wont increase horsepower, but it will get you at the end of the quarter quicker and that will run you about $400 to $500 dollars installed. So thats a bit of cash. Modding a stang, or any car for that matter, isnt cheap by any means.

oohh, and exhaust, if you do one like mine will run you about $1500 dollars also. Always go with Long Tube headers. Dont get mid length or shorties or it will be a wate of money. Also upgrade your mid pipe and catbacks to 2 1/2" pipe. That will support up to 600Hp.

Let us know what you plan to do and how it turns out and if you have any other questions then throw em' out here.

And your gonna have to do some of that major modding to get to 350+ hp, can't do it with no power adders and just bolt-ons alone. It will take at least a power adder or a cams swap. Supercharging will be the cheapest way there, if you can part with the money all at once.

I'd just wait a while and put a blower on it. If you look in the right places, you can probably do it for $2500-$3000. Check out eBay. I'd be a little leary of a used supercharger, but I've heard of people picking them up cheap, and it turned out to be a smoking deal.
