It is essentially a big ricer fest there.

I've got a 95' Trans AM, I raced a GT with aftermarket intake an exhaust and won by half a car length.

They are saying that it doesn't mean **** because Mustang GTs 99+ are 15 second cars. And no one drives them in the 14s, anyone want to shut them up by posting some slips or providing any kind of information you may deem valuable.

I have always believed 99+ GTs to be low 14s high 13s

There's a magazine article out there somewhere where Evan Smith drove one to a 13.7 completely stock, mostly anyone that knows anything about these cars doesn't think that was COMPLETELY stock, but hell, they won't know the difference.

Let them talk LOL. thats funny. they might be at the track seeing a gt run a 15 or a high 14 but everyone messes up a launch or misses gears and they take that time and say thats the best they can do. oh well

I love how the 99+ GT's are such sleepers. Everyone thinks they are equal to the early 4.6 and old 5.0 GT's...I get a lot of people saying "That's a 4.6?? It's not a 5.0? Oh, it's slower than a 5.0 then right?"

thats the best kinda car to have a sleeper. cause u are expecting a t/a to be fast and your epecting the new 05 stang to be quick and the old 4.6 are slow and alot of ppl really dont know what to expect outa the 99+ and with a few mods people are like holy crap whats in that thing and expect a slow car uhh uhh buddy. ill be sitting there smerking at the light buddy.

I can't wait for my head/cam/intake swap... Hopefully P&P PI heads (haven't decided where from), comp or VT cams (approx. stage II) and 99+ intake... Should be an uber sleeper or "teh shizzle" as some might call it...lol And it'll retain those waffle wheels!

Yeah people are dumbasses. I've had people ask why my car says 4.6 on the hood, they say "Hey man isn't that a 5.0?" I'm like no, they haven't put the 5.0 in a Mustang in 9 years. Then everyone that owns a 5.0 are like "oh the 4.6 is just a pos weak motor, oh man they are so slow". Hell with a 4.6 you get more respect from the f-body guys than the 5.0 guys.
