I just bought a stock 98 mustang gt 4.6L. i want to start racing it...so what can get me the most hp? i just bought an intake for it...k&n generation 2...they say that can add up to 26hp...if you could please give me some more ideas that i can do to it....that would help me alot...

I am assuming you mean drag racing, so for $400 installed, buy youself a new rear end. Go up 2 or 3 ratios and you will get a huge increase w/ that. If you have 3:27's go to 3:73's or even 4:11's, etc. Each ratio change equates to a horsepower gain, but I forget the equation. Some people say you lose top speed by doing this, but it is really only minimal. My friend has an 03' mach1 and went to 4:11's and loves them, even on the highway. I had an 87' GT back in the day, and went from 2:73's to 3:27's and loved it and didn't notice any loss on the highway. I should have put 3:55's or 3:73's!
