thanks man, I think as soon as I get traction I will be okay!

As for the springs they are H&R Progressive springs and they lowered the car 1 1/2 inches all the way around. It has a nice level look to it and doesnt look ghetto at all. (thats what I was scared of. ) I was told to get progressive that they are tons better than specific rated. That is right isnt it?

Well, if his car is lowered and he hasnt gotten an alignment yet then his front tires are gonna be creating extra rolling resistance. Once again just speculating though. Hey if you think your traction is bad now, wait till you get 3.90's!

ok, get this. Im in Tx so its always hot as *****. Today it was maybe 90 to 95 degrees. The track I run on has a river running aside it so the humidity is always unbelievable. The alt isnt to bad, a little over 900 ft if im not mistaken. The quality of the track sucks *** to be truthful. It has bumps in it left and right.

Im not trying to make excuses but my track does suck.

Its also a meeting point for people from Waco and Austin to race, so im thinking Im gonna go take out about a $500,000 dollar loan and build a new one somewhere else in the same area but not as close to the river. I could easily get a loan for that amount through Veterans Affairs and if I need more my roommate will be willing to get a loan alike and we could go in on it together. What do you guys think???

Depends on the humidity % for that day and your elevation. It can slow your car down up to a full second.

Yea something like that about the humidity, so does altitude as well.
click here for weather conditions corrections calculator
nhra altitude correction formula

way I figure it, hot muggy weather cost him about 1 mph, and the altitude correction really doesnt amount to anything - comparing yourself to most other's average altitude your about average - but maybe you could't get .3 or so mph compared to sea level.

Anyone have a guestimation on what my quarter would be? I made two runs and missed 3rd both times. I still ran 14.6 at a rediculous 92mph. I pulled hard outta the hole and my 60' was 2.0. Im thinking 13.66 or 13.7 without missing 3rd. I got to pissed after the second run and just headed home.

Well what does the Steeda stage 1 consist of? It looks like you should be in the 13's. I have a problem missing thirs everytime also and I run about the same time you did, well actually I ran a 14.1 when I missed and a 13.8 last weekend just because I was the first person at the line and there was no water thrown yet and the track just got a new layer of the sticky stuff that smells like bubblegum. [sm=smiley36.gif][sm=smiley36.gif] Never can remember the name of that stuff.
