New user here - Just trying to get the wife's 98 GT a little more , for nothing of course. What's the location of this air silencer on a '98?

Pardon my ignorance, I'm new to the Ford world.

Edit: Got it - Sorry bout that. I thought about removing that pc a month ago when I put her new filter in, but wondered if it was ok to run without it?? Seems like it leaves it a little bit TOO open?? Anyone had any problems doing this?
Most CAI... actualy all CAI Ive seen have open ended air filters. More air=more power. The "snout" is one of the first things people do wit their stang. Youll eventualy want to elimnate the whole housing when you get a CAI to maximize airflow.
