does anyone use amsoil trans fluid. they sell a universal trans fluid. ford states we use mercon ATF. this amsoil tranny fluid is ATF and it says that its compatable with mercon and mercon v . i was reading in my owners manual and it says mercon and mercon v are not interchangeable. when they say that, that throws me off.do you guys think its ok to use this. im thinking it is but i want your opinion. oh mighty ones lol. thanx. reply quick cause i need to order it within one more day thanx.

I just did my 30,000 mile stuff and they used the ATF fluid and I was surprised. I thought it would be something different. I consulted Amsoil about motor oil and they said it comes with a flush kit to get the other oil out and then you fill up with their oil. Im not sure if there is a flush for the tranny fluid.

Amsoil is really good stuff. Just order amsoil ATF fluid.
