LMAO So what you're saying is..... don't talk about what you don't understand..... Got it. I thought the Mach's were more expensive than that. A friend of mine has one, and while I don't know what he paid for it, I do know that his payments are in the $500 + range. Since the GT's are more in the $300-$400 range, I guessed $10K difference. And there are still times when I wish I'd have taken the SS just to say I had one.

That wasn't a burn man. It's hard to tell if it is or isn't, but it certainly wasn't. He was just making comparisons on car payments when that doesn't matter which model V8 Mustang you have, it's all about how much you put down, finance & your % rates..

I understand what you're talking about w/ the financing and downpayment, and such, as I come from a long line of car salesmen + both of my best friends sell cars.... (If anybody needs to be hooked up in SoCal with either Ford, Mazda, Pontiac, or Lincon, let me know). But the AVERAGE car payment for a car really does tell a lot if you're used to seeing them. A thousand dollars down = about $20 on a monthly payment on a 60 month loan. So weather you put down $1k or $5k, your payments are going to be pretty close (and MOST people put a down payment somewhere in that range). I know you weren't trying to burn me, and I'm not getting all emotional and defensive or anything, I'm just explaining my thinking (as I know it looks sort of stupid *a self admission* at first glance).

Is the price difference really worth the half second? The GT's are 14.0 sec cars right? If you throw $10 grand at a GT, you'll have a faster car that's still cheaper. LOL That just the way I look at it. It's why I drive a Z28, and not an SS. It would be cool to say you've got a Mach I though.

I agree with this guy. I paid $15,000 for my ride and about to throw $4500 into a charger and I will be dusting off C5's Im hoping. But buy a cheaper ride and dump the rest into mods and you will have a way better car in the end. BUT if you have the cash then buy the Mach1 and throw a charger on it. GOD!!! That would be awsome!
