GT's & Mach 1's have equal TQ ratings. Once ya get into 3rd gear, this is where the Mach 1 shines...

Regarding the handling question...The Mach has a "totally reworked" suspension (so says Ford).

Anyway, aside from sitting lower than the GT, it does have either specially tuned Billstien or Tokico shocks (can't remember), stiffer springs and most importantly solid (GT's are hollow), thicker anti roll bars in the front and back.
