when he said F/I i believe he is talking about forced induction. i.e. supercharger or turbo... Just a thought.

Default Over 100k miles, driving distances?

I bought a 94 mustang gt last year for $2,500. Its a 5.0 V8. It had 101k miles on it and now has 111k. It runs great and i havent had problems. New starter and alternator. Im just not sure if it would make it on an 8 hour road trip? I havent drove it far distances before and dont want to blow it up.

I'll just say blanket statements are usually FALSE.

Any Mustang over 100K is crap? No, not even close. A well taken care of car can still be very clean and run just fine with no needed work. Would you like to see what my 240,000 mile car looks like? (Just for fun, that is the distance from Earth to the Moon.) It's a daily driven and track used Mustang that was taken care of properly. And for whatever it's worth, it's been supercharged the whole time.... which 9 times out of 10 is what "F/I" refers to on a forum.
