Default Interior Help

Im trying to remove the trim from around the cd player and ac controls. Its being a b**** [:@]

I can get the top part around the ac vents to come loose, but the bottom around the cd player wont budge. i removed the 2 screws from the bottom, but it still wont move. I tried pulling pretty hard, but stopped cause im afraid i will break it.

Anyone know how this thing comes off?

ETA: car is a 99 GT

if the trim around the shifter is off and the screws out then all you do is pull.

its sticking around the CD player. Does the CD player have to come out first? If so how do you go about getting it out?

The housing around the cd player and tuner have a type of clip that holds them in the dash. I'm sure there's a tool that shops use to remove them but you could use a small flathead screw driver and try to depress the tabs so you can yet the cd player out of the dash.
