MIL elminators

RE: MIL elminators
there are somethings that are good to do your self and others that are better left to the pro's. I personally would say that any type of electrical componet or anything that messes with the onboard computer to just go buy it from somewhere like steeda or mustang tuning. Just my opinion though.

No problem. Just make sure you have good solder connections and that the wires are in the screw terminals tight. What I did, after installed inline, was I slipped over an old bicycle inner tube, about a 3-4 in section, then zip tied the ends. After that, I wrapped it in good quality electrical tape. I did all this to keep water out, otherwise, it could cause a short or damage to the MIL elims. By the way, what year and model is it going on? This design is for OBD II systems, post 96 or 97. I believe that's when they started OBD II. Let me know how it works out. Also, if your check engine light is already on, after installing the MIL elims, unhook your negative battery cable for 5-10 mins to reset the computer to turn off your service engine soon light.

Oh, one more thing. Make sure you buy those exact parts, the part numbers are listed. Those are all radio shack parts, and all radio shacks carry them. No substitutions, something could get damaged with improper resistors or capacitors. Total cost should be around $10.
