Default Spun a bearing and not sure where to start.

Okay i have a 2000 Mustang GT slugomatic... Car has a few bolt-ons and "WAS" a daily driver.

Well between all the goofing around and ripping on the car constantly i beleive it spun a bearing.

I run mobil 1 and changed it give or take about every 2000-2500 miles.
Car has lil over 70k miles on it and might i state again i abused it. I might have abused the car, motor wise but ill post pictures of it all in all its a very clean 2000, has one door ding. Other then that the car has no fadded paint ect.. ANYWAY.
I was goofing around on wet pavement and out of no where the car started knocking pretty dam loud and given the oil had been changed 1000 miles prior ot this i didnt think the worse.. Well today went and listen to it and took a stethascope to it and omg is the knocking loud on the bottom driver side of the block and on the oil pan. No where else is the knocking very pernounced. I havent taken the motor apart yet and really dont entend to. So to sum all this up my question is which would be the best way to go? Finding another 4.6 outta 99-04 GT which would rather not find a romeo given this is a windsor. Or doing some sort of other swap keep in mind money is a factor given im your average everyday person. I can get my hands on a 351 windsor complete motor freshly rebuilt for $100 from a family friend thats why the price is cheap. I have personally seen this 351 run its just he needs money atm so he willing to sell it "to me" and me only that cheap. Im just not sure how hard a 351 is to swap into this. Anyway like i said money is a factor i have a little just not enough to go buy like a 03-04 svt motor.

Not really sure what your question is. But, from what I'm understanding you're comparing the cost of repairing the 4.6L to swapping in a 351W. Swapping the 351W isn't very difficult, but will require somethings to change (I don't think the transmission or driveshaft will fit properly). If you're going to use a carb- then it makes things much easier to swap. Otherwise you're going to need the correct EFI setup and eec for it.

Personally, I would tear the 4.6L apart and see how bad it is. You may find that you just smashed one or two rod bearings. Throw in a new set of bearings- plastigauge it, and if it's acceptable- run an oil according to the clearances and go. Otherwise, a used 4.6L 2v can be purchased from a dismantler.
