Default How do I get mold off of my convertible top?

Hello,

I am having some problems with mold and mildew on my convertible top on my 2003 mustang gt. How can I go about getting the mold off?

Thanks,
Judd

Try checking your owners manual first. They usualy have recommended cleaning for your top.

Meguiar's also makes a great line of conditioners/cleaners safe for vinyl.

I've never use any armorall on anything. It's know for attracting dust and casuing cracks and fading.

Here is another article/info about convertible top care.

Convertible Top Care

And some more info

Autopia

It looks like several places are mentioning Wolfsteins Raggtopp Cleaner

I have a white top.[:@]. Its sooooooo hard to keep clean. I had to go through lots of formulas to finally get it clean. Its about time to do it again too. ARGH!!!! I'm almost ready to just replace it with a black top.

Ragg Topp does nothing to a moldy stained top. It is no better than the autozone brand top cleaner that is 10 times cheaper in price. Don't waste your money on that product. They guaranteed me that it would work or my money back and now they are claiming that they never made me that guarantee and won't refund my money. Stay away from Ragg Topp!

Move to colorado. The climate is so painfully dry (between 5% and 15% hummidity at most times) that no mold can exsist haha
