Default Throttle Body ?

I'm going to put a full length densecharger with the 85mm Pro-M maf, a new throttle body, and a C&L intake plenum. My question is what size throttle body should I go with? 70 or 75?

5mm isn't going to make a huge difference either way. May as well go w/ the 75 though unless it's a lot more expensive. IMO that is.

Don't forget that only 5mm difference in diameter makes a big difference in surface area. a 70mm throtle body yields 3846mm in surface area while a 75mm throttle body is 4415mm of surface. That's a pretty big difference. Not sure which is better for your current mods though.

you are going to be disapointed with the C&L plenum.... you will gain some, but not what you would with the accufab. hopefully i can sell my pos c&l and get the accufab... accufab... accufab... accufab....

if you are N/A, stick with the 70mm and get the accufab plenum.. i guarentee you won't be dissapointed.

70 mm throttle body - your doin it right as well - a throttle body and plenum change isn't worth the money unless you invest in something like a densecharger and an aftermarket mass air meter. You'll be happy with the SOTP difference. Oh and WHT is right on with the accufab comment - they are the best there is out right now - It will outperform C&L by a good 30% more hp - only thing is that 30% is only = to about 2.5 hp hehe.

What did you here about the trickflow plenium. Is c&L really that bad?. What about the mac. They need to test it. I'ts pretty expensive though.

Also, would there be any benefit to using a throttle body spacer?
