There was a Mustang Mainia in Tampa, Fl this weekend, and they had the 05 GT there, guys, that thing rocks. It is more comfortable then my 01 GT, and the shifter was easier to go thru the gears. nobody could give me a price on it, or when it's supposed to come out, can anybody tell me what they have heard? and is anybody trading there stang in for the new breed???

As much as i want a 05up right now, and that was my origional plan, but i needed a car, so i got my 02 gt. Its only got 13k so its good forawhile.

Im not gonna jump on them right now. I promised myself since i didnt get a new one right away, Ill get the new cobra when it comes out. (Im 19 right now anyway, and ill be close to 21 when it comes out) so Itll be better cost wise for me in the long run

The new stang comes w/a B&M short shifter from the factory..that's why it's easier.

And for the new interior comfort the '05 is REALLY heavy.

I just want the suspension. The motor is like 10:1 compression. (not blower friendly) I wonder what it will run stock.

Yeah i was wondering why ford has been keeping this car such a big secret...I've heard rumors on svtperfomace that this car is really underrated and it produces almost 300 hp to the wheels...I saw a test that motor trend did and they had it reaching 0-100 in 13.2.......the 99+ GT's will reach it in 14.3 seconds...so it's much quicker than the current GT's....but i just don't understand why there isn't any more magazines putting out performance data on this car...If any body have the quarter mile times....please post it...I've been thinking about getting one.
