I dont care how high the back sits. Its the front that the pic is of. I think I'll give it a week to atleast get back to where the car sat stock because it still rides nice but just sits really high. Im hoping to take some pics today with the wheels off so that you all can see how the spring is in there.

Id throw a car cover over it to hide it till you get it fixed. Must look like a 4 x 4 on steroids, lol. did you happin to put springs sided by side to compare how tall they are to original?

I'm more than 95% sure that the springs need to be rotated so that the dead coil is resting inside the control arm where the groove dips down, as mentioned above..


There is NO WAY that your car is supposed to look like that..


Secondly, after re-viewing the pictures, it looks as though the dead coil is sitting on top of that "groove."

they where the same size as the stock springs I pulled out so I though it would be lower by the time it settled

Sure, a bunch of things..


One of them is the fact that you're supposed to remove the Rubber thing you have there, it's called a Spring Isolator. Then, you can seat the spring correctly on the perch on the control arm..
