So I got my new Ford Racing springs in my car and the car is sitting very, very high! I was told that they are a progressive rate spring and that it will lower over time. Is this true and will they lower that much?

springs need a week or two to settle down to the final height. I dont' know how different that is for the 'progressive' springs vs any other type of spring.

Try taking your car through some twisties that will help them getted settled in.

I don't know about Ford. But I put Mopar performance springs in my old Dakota and they dropped about 1.5" over the first couple of weeks. The ride improved as well.

it should have dropped some instantly, then they take about a week to settle the rest. Ford springs only drop about an inch or so anyway. Did you install them correctly facing the same direction? And did you install new isolators?

I had those springs on my car. They didnt really look a whole lot lower than stock. Their presence is known when you go to the track. Good weight transfer. I was pulling 1.8 60fts on street tires. Dont be mad. they are worth it.

Front only or both?

Did you seat the springs up front? (rotate into position) If not, then that could be a problem.
