i just got me a 98 gt i love it already i had a 95 gt with 450 rwhp but it burned up in a fire 4 years agao. any way i was driving then pop coolant poured out took the alt off and saw the intake cracked .boo. the dealer will fix it but i have to tow it to them. i only like to work on my own cars to. so does any one in sandiego want to help a bro out and have an intake they will sell me cheap? if so call me 619 504 4562. in lower so cal email works to. thanks

That's a very common problem with the plastic intakes. Damn Ford. [:@] Make sure you get an intake with an aluminum water crossover so it doesn't happen again.

uuhhh... did the 98's come with a plastic intake? I thought that was 99+. I may be wrong though.

Yes 1996+ all came with a plastic intake. I think they only started putting the intake with the aluminum crossover on in '04. Maybe it was earlier...I dunno.
