Every Gm dash have rattles

All dash of GM products are made of recycled plastic .... I work at a garage and every gm that comes in for repair ..... they drive me nuts ... every piece and clip breaks all the time ... I wish they didn't existed..

RE: 2002 GT Dash rattle !!!!
Every Mustang I have ever been in had squeeks and rattles. GM products are the same (I have never owned a Dodge). That's what we get for buying North American cars. I figure there are a bunch of dudes just like me assembling them. It's just a job. They come in hung over and hate Mondays and just want to get out of there on a Friday...just like me I don't really care about my job and only do it "good enough" so I don't get fired. That's probably all they all do too.
When I first got my GT, I took it into the dealership every other week complaining about some noise or another. They would fix one thing and another would start.
My g/f started calling me "Rain Man" because I was so obsessed with every little noise. Eventually I just gave up. Many Mustang owners have done that.
My advice is to get a nice exhaust you like the sound of and drown out all the little noises with the sound of powa. That's what I eventually did.

you should'nt generalize
You just admitted you only do enough to "not get fired" but how can you say the same for everyone. I work for the assembly plant in St. Louis and we build Explorers, Mountaineers and Aviators. I take my job (securing the driver side doors) very seriously. I've got a wife and two kids and I know somewhere there's a guy with a family who's loading them all into one of our trucks and going on a road trip or something. So to me it's not just a job and I know alot of the men and women I work with who feel the same way.
