I assume you don't have a fenderwell CAI? Those don't mix well with screenless maf's

you're right, no CAI here. My intake is stock, minus the air silencer & screen. I'm toying with the idea of porting the stock tb / plenum or buying one. I don't run at any track so I think it'd be fun to try get the most out of the stock components.

I don't use the screen and have used the C&L set-up on my '03 GT and now my '04 Mach 1....I let the computer reset and haven't had any problems since.

C&L is a straight shot CAI, no fenderwell bends to throw off the maf

I run a ported stock plenum, and you won't catch me ever running an aftermarket plenum for what they cost - Im happy with the stocker and I'd be suprised if any aftermarket units give any noticable performance gains over a ported stocker in NA applications. Now for supercharged cars - a C&L would be the way to go IMO as you don't need the velocity that you loose using the same plenum in NA setups.
