Default Mass air and Injectors

I have a 97gt with flowmasters, mac x-pipe, mac cold air kit, steeda timing adjuster, and a hypertech III, I'm looking to buy a new mass air and injectors but I don't know witch size would be better for me, I was looking at the PRO-M 80mm and the 24# injectors or the 77mm with 24# injectors. I just would like to buy the right one. any other info would be great. thank you

you currently have 19# injectors which are good to 400hp N/a all u need is a better flowing MAF and the 80 would be find. i have an 02 with the same bolt ons as you except diffrent exaust and when i took it to the dyno my A/F stayed right where it should be. even if u get cams 19's will be fine.

you dont need bigger injectors, and an maf would be a waste of $$ for the few mods you have. invest in something worth the $$. i recomend long tubes

For the price, a mass air meter system and the new c&l intake plenum with a 75mm throttle body would net you around 20 or so rear wheel hp, which would be a great investment. Long tubes help out as well, however, they can be on the expensive side if you choose to get a good quality header.

Nemo,

I was thinking of doing the Long tube headers, But, what do I do about my mid pipe?

If i did that id want one that bolts up, whats one that i can get that has a short mid pipe for a bolt on application?

Whats the gains over a shorty header and a regular off road mid pipe?

All the companys that make LT headers have a matching X or H pipe for that application. LT's and short mid pipe can yield gains of +25 - 30 hp. You'll never get that with shorties.

Could you not just cut down your h pipe and bracket or weld or fabricate the long tubes to the shorter h? Thats what I am thinking about doing instead of buyind a new pro-chamber for $239.
