A plasma booster (I think) is just a spark amplifyer for the ignition system, kinda like a piggy back MSD - but Im not real sure never seen one in person.

But really though I think be best performance part available for our cars is still a secret. 2000si I dont get your power of observation message but I caution everyone running diluthium crystals and oversized flux capacitators I have seen many Mustangs come in with blown kinipiling pins from these mods, just an FYI.
