Default Update on Project Bumboclaat

Well most of you know me and my quest to obtain 400 rwhp off the Saleen Series IV Supercharger..... However, due to a blown motor from a wonderful friend of mine (and I'm only kidding, it was not his fault) attempting to run N02 in my car while I am deployed. Now I gave him permission to do that so again its not his fault. More then likely the motor was about ready to give out anyway. I wish I could upload the pictures I had but somehow.... something blew through my hood because there is a whole there about the size of a coke can. The Upper Intake, and Plenum also suffered some damage. Not to worry! This gives me an excuse to go with bigger and better options! Now my Goal is for 500+ RWHP!!!!!

Here are my options.....

Option 1

283 Built Bottom end motor with nodular crank, fordge rods, pistons, beams.... etc Guarrented to withstand 600rwhp

Procharger D-1 with 14 PSI

HP Upper Intake Manifold/Plenum/75mmTB/90mm MAF

There will also be all the suspension, clutch and brake upgrades to complement my power

Option 2
FULLY BUILT 302 Stroker motor with fordged stroker crank, fordged rods, pistons, beams, ETC..... up to 800rwhp
Also, Stage II Comp Cams, and Stage II Port n' Polished Heads

TNT Nitrous 100-250 shot (tuneable)

Plus all the suspension goodies and brake upgrades and built rear end.

I'm leaning more towards the Procharger Route, even though I'm only getting the bottom end of the motor and its about $1,200 more expensive but thats POWER all the time.

Now this is all STAGE 1 of project Bumboclaat to be completed hopefully before the New Years Celebration so I can show boat her.

STAGE II will consist of the Body Appearence with a Cowl Induction Hood w/ 3in lift, Black DD Bullets, 17x9 in the front, and 17x10.5s in the back with Nitto 555rs. Mach 1 Grill Delete, Mach 1 Chin Spoiler, and Steeda Rear Wing. Also a complete body Re-paint (Black of Course :-)) This to be completed in Late January to early Febuary.

Stay Tuned! And to the guys that I promised the results from the Saleen Blower, I'm very sorry about that. That would have been a great project to work on also.... But now that I have no choice but to get a bigger and stronger motor, I might as well go all out with it.

Oh yea. If anyone is intrested in a 2.8 Supercharger Pulley, C&L CAI, and a K&N CAI, and a set of 4 Metalic Grey Bullet wheels with tires for a low low price, PM ME! The Wheels are the stock 17x8 with 245 tires with plenty of tread on them!

Mi no ChiChiMon Boi!!!!!!! lol I was gonna go with the "Black Bucket" (nods to code3gt) But that wasn't original enough. I like the Spray option but I know my @$$ will spray on my way to Walmart getting groceries. And I only know of two places that will Fill my NO2 tank. About how much for a fill?

+1 I was considering it but its nodular, which is in between cast iorn and Fordged, good enough for 600. But yea if I have enough $$$ left over I'll get it. My Budgeting is pretty tight. I've also got a whole Bassani Exhuast system I'm trying to get. And a few other goodies.

I'm going to stick with the stock transmission and drivetrain until she goes.... Which alot of people are sayin will hold quiet alot of horsepower. If anything I may change out the drive shaft for a lighter aliuminim one piece shaft.

I had high hopes that that would work. With the set up I was going for it should have worked.
