Default Tech articles and how to's (Updated Often)

Hey guys!

Planning on installing that new t/b plenum this weekend? Or how about a catback or X-pipe? Underdrive pulleys? Anything? Chin Spoiler?

Make sure you take picutres of the installation process and do a technical, thorough writeup and submit to me via PM ANY Site Moderator and if it makes muster, the Admins might be so kind as to bless you with a contributor tag!

It's not that hard to do and we're trying to expand our tech "How To's" and who better than the members to do them!

Thanks all!

Default Another "How-To" - fog light rewiring

If anyone is interested, I figured out how to rewire the fog lights on my 97 GT so they work through the regular switch and relay independent of the headlights. I'll walk you through how I did it if you want to know.

Default 98 4.6 litre swap over to 2001 4.6 litre PI

What componets have to be changed over if any so a 2001 4.6 litre PI can be installed in place of a 98 4.6 litre in a 98 GT Mustang? The PI came out of 2001 GT convertible with automatic transmission. The 98 is a 5 speed. Is anything custom or special in order to do the engine swap?

no except maybe the auto trans flex plate, if the attach holes on the end of the crank number six you're fine. If they are eight you need a flex plate off a 99-00 year car with an automatic.

I have a 2000 GT with the Windsor block, will Romeo heads bolt on without issue excluding valve covers? And any other differences that could cause issues during engjne build?
