Help ! American Cobra Fan ( 4.6 DOHC )
I am a new member.
Regard, for all Ford Cobra Fan.
I speak in English a little bit , please
I built Ac Cobra 66 with a 4.6 Dohc Ford Cobra.
Reinhard Racing modified my computer with a special "chip " for different factor; 1) Bypass electronic Anti theft
2) Bypass all anti-polution ( pump air injected ),
3) upgrade limited revolution engine at 7500
4) upgrade different factor for more horse power
Header 1 3/4 with 4 into 4 in two side pipe (1 each side )
No AC
Special Cold air System ( over Radiator ) * because restrictive emplacement
My engine run very well.
Good powerband, good strarting , good performance at 3000 rpm and more
But I don' t have a quick respond on trottle at low RPM
If i turn rapidely ( quickly ) cam on the trottle body , he have a little lag.
First question; Is it possible have a correction
Second question; best modification for obtain more performance , and no lag.
P.S My Intake IMRC is stock
Trottle body stock
Mass air flow stock

If I remove my IMRC system, a special modification is it obligatory ?
Exemple; spacer in lower intake, new chip for computer etc...
Also , in your answer , " forced Induction " =supercharge or maybe Ram Air System ???
If only supercharge Kenny Bell is the best but very expensive.
Have you different option.

i would have to say turbocharge it, that will make the most hp and torque. and if you remove the imrc, im not sure if you have to do anything else. try a search on www.google.com, i think they make a few kits to do so.
