hell the new intakes are modified from originall.. metal now on the front instead of plastic</P>

I just discovered the same problem on my '98 today. Does any one have any suggestions on how to get Ford to fix this for free?

take it to the dealership and try your luck.. i have heard of some people geting away with it and other like me screwed... try to get them to pay for it and if no go, tell them you know cost is164.67 on the new one</P>
