You would think you could just take a saw and be careful and cut that damn plastic out, seems like an idea, I might have to do it, LOL.

After you get plastic out .. all you'd have to is get a jig with a sheetmetal blade and cut a hole in your hood ... then you might as well just throw on the cdc shaker ...
