Default Getting a 4.6

Hi all, as not many of you know, i am rebuilding an engine to put into a 72 ranchero, but my dad told me yesterday he wants me to have something with airbags, so ive decided on a 4.6, 200-2004. what kind of V8 (no 6 bangers, sorry) would be best for me, the only ones i know of are the GT and the SVT Cobra, and the Terminator(?) is there any more, and what are the relative price ranges? oh yeah, and the mach 1, i wanna get one of those to match the 69, that would rock... thanks in advance.

get a regular GT anything else and youll be paying out the *** for, and insurance will kill you. theres the 6, the gt, the mach 1 and the 00-01 cobra + the 03-04 cobra (terminator) and theres some other special editions in there

You can pick up an 03-04 GT between 15-20k depending on the miles. You can step up to a 03 Cobra for 22-28K. I have a bone stock 03 GT Vert for sale if your interested!

As I have been looking for a while...you pay for the quality of the car. The cheapest 99-04 Gt you find is around 7 G's and the most expensive is around 20 G's. If you have an option to get the Terminator (03-4 cobra) do it...you wont be disapointed...but also...I know of people that have 05-06 stangs and love them with a passion...thats my .02.
