No, fifth gear is really easy to get into. The only gear i missed so far is 2nd[:@]. Thats when I first went to drive it after the install. I seriously yelled holy **** after I shifted. If your having trouble getting it into 5th try backing out your shift stops.

Mine took a couple uses and it started to shift like butter.

I stopped at a buddies house last night, he drives a Z28 with a hurst short throw, he hopped in my car to check out the seats and he grabbed the shifter and felt the gears... Should have seen his face! It was absolutely priceless!!

Love my MGW

I drive from pittsburgh to dayton all the time. It's 310 mile trip. 1 tank of gas completely covered it. Pretty damn good. I make the trip next saturday for the first time with the supercharger.... we'll see what happends there.

I have a pro5.0 in my car right now, but i have to buy a new shifter for the new tranny, i'm thinking of going with the MGW. I'd like to beable to test it out though before I make the switch.

Yea my mileage was with racing a little through the tunnels I go through to get out here..haha. Im gonna get a vid of that on the way home. I was honestly a little skeptical about how great this shifter would be. People make it out like its their first orgasm or something. It truly lives up to its hype.
