RE: Pro charger
I would like a short shifter now but as anyone knows its going to take alittle time to save up for the Turbo or procharger. I know the diff in the procharger and a turbo but what kind of result come from both of them?

RE: Pro charger
Turbo's require more maintenance in the long run, but I'd advise you to go to a local speed shop and find out what they are capable of (if they're doing the work and/or tune) and go from there. These questions on this forum will have you chasing your tail

RE: Pro charger
Turbos are great for the simple fact you can turn the boost down so you'd be running a very low psi motor when you don't need it and it'll just be a turn of the dial away when you want some good go fast power. They do require more mainenence and their failure rate is definetly higher than that of superchargers and prochargers. If you have a DD, get a blower and keep it at 8-9 psi. If it's a weekend car, go for a turbo. They make really sweet twin turbo kits that mount at the back of the car to keep the temp down. It's said that you loose about 1 psi of boost, but with the extreme difference of the air, you see between 75-100 extra horse at the same psi.

RE: Pro charger
superchargers eat belts all the time and are alot bigger pain in the *** to change the boost level.... The turbo is a much more reliable device by FAR... however the twin systems are much more complicated - go with a sinlge smaller turbo - quick boost - 400rwhp 500rwtq last longer than than a supercharger w/ better fuel economy and less strain on the motor than a charger at the same hp level... I am talking about a remote mount turbo here also - I would not run a front mount turbo on a stock internals... bad idea

RE: Pro charger
I'd go with the Pro Charger Supercharger you guaranteed and increase in horsepower and the supercharger will pull more on bottom then the top end if your looking for fast acceleration times then I'd go with the supercharger. You can change the pulleys on the supercharger to gain more boost. I'd would go with a supercharger in my case because I like to acceleration fast.
