Ok, I am about to order a set of motive 3.90 gears, mgw shifter, and either a sct xcal tuner or 2 dd bullits for the rear. I need tires in the rear so I decided it was time to step up to a wider rim. Here is my dilemma. Should I get the dd bulltis for the rear or the sct xcal tuner. The reason I ask this is because I dont have money to waste (poor college student) I know the tuner will calibrate the car for the gears, but will I see any power gain on a stock car?
if you put in the gears and don't have a tuner, your going to be racking up alot of miles on the odometer because it is going to read off.

My car has about 5000 too many miles on the odo because I made this mistake and left it that way for awhile.

Me too damnit. I just forgot about the speedcal. I probably didnt rack up 5000 miles, but I had alot. Id go ahead and get a tuner or a speedcal just becuase of the miles. Thats a hard decision. Wide wheels/tires look freaking awesome
