those mods sound great, but for like 50$ or so you can throw in a intake spacer, adds power and is very cheap

Long tubes should only cost about 200-300 dollars to install .. but you can easily do them yourself ..

all you have to do is drop the front suspension .. we learned this was alot easier than any other option through trial and error over the past couple years at the shop .. only takes a few hours and is alot less of a pain in the **** ..

LT's .. mid-pipe .. gear... and whatever is left over .. shifter ( cheapest between MGW and Steed Triax ) pullies ..intake ( ebay .. 50 dollars shipped .. same as bbk w/o the name )

I've heard quite a few times that headers were a waste of money and that the stock ones flowed nicely. I could be wrong, but if I'm not that could be money towards some gears if you dont have em already. I know some people will disagree, but I lean towards 4.30 since I have those and they make the car VERY responsive off the line. It seems like the CAI might not be the best bang for the buck mod... especially one with an aluminum pipe since metal heats up more than plastic. Personally I just removed my silencer and dropped in a K&N. Seems to me that those little things like the CAI and headers could be better spent on some other mods.

I dont know if it's worth it, but I've been talking to a guy about buying his timing adjuster if it's worth it as well as the guy says it is. They dont seem too expensive and if you can do that much with it, it seems like it adds the most HP outta everything on the list above.

Not knocking your list or anything. I wish I could have spent $1000 this weekend on something other than tires and new calipers and rotors.[:@] Good luck man and when you're done post up some numbers!!

Headers and mid pipe will garner more hp than the timing adjuster. TAs are nice and give some umph and throttle response, but remember that almost every mod compliments the others. I'd scrap the headlights for gears, though.

Stock manifolds on mustangs don't come close to LT's .. They are a great mod and if you're ever planning on doing a supercharger in the future .. LTs can get you alot of extra ponies ..

I definately agree. While gears may not add hp, they do give that extra kick in the pants.
